The Sacred Journey
Salvaterra — Playa Hermosa
February 15 – March 1, 2026
Training Overview
Step into the sacred journey of becoming a yoga teacher — in a retreat setting designed to awaken, empower, and transform you from the inside out.
This 200-hour Yoga Alliance–certified training is more than a certification. It’s a life-changing immersion into self-discovery, embodied wisdom, and teaching mastery. Rooted in the Present Practice pillars of Discipline, Discovery, and Devotion, you’ll deepen your personal practice, learn to teach with clarity and confidence, and reconnect with who you’re here to be.
The journey begins with our 60-hour online prerequisite course, The School of Being — a powerful self-paced exploration of yoga philosophy, self-inquiry, and integration. From there, we gather in person for 140 immersive hours of study, practice, and community on the sun-drenched Pacific Coast of Costa Rica.
You’ll leave this experience more yourself than ever before — grounded, inspired, and ready to share the practice from a place of authenticity and purpose.
The Journey
Our training takes place at Salvaterra, a secluded beachfront sanctuary on the wild Pacific coast of Costa Rica. Nestled in the surf town of Playa Negra, this boutique retreat center offers simple luxury, warm ocean breezes, and a front-row seat to nature’s power and presence.
Salvaterra features:
A stunning indoor glass yoga shala with jungle views
Saltwater infinity pool overlooking the surf break
Walkable beach access and gentle waves perfect for morning surfing
Thoughtfully designed rooms with AC and curated interiors
Vibrant, nourishing meals made with fresh local ingredients
During breaks, you can lounge in the pool, surf the break just outside your door, sip coconut water by the beach, or simply rest in the stillness of this sacred land.
This is a true training retreat — where every element is designed to help you grow, learn, and come home to yourself.
