A Message from Morgan

Dear future teacher,

If you’re here, it’s not by accident.

Whether you feel a whisper of curiosity or a deep call to step forward, something in you already knows: this is your path. Not just to teach—but to live in fuller alignment with yourself.

This training isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about becoming more you. About honoring your truth. About stepping into your voice with confidence and clarity.

The world doesn’t need more perfection. It needs presence.

I created the School of Yoga because I believe teaching yoga should be rooted in lived experience—not performance or posturing. It should be an extension of your truth.

And whether or not you ever teach a class, you’ll walk away from this training knowing yourself more deeply and moving through the world with more intention, integrity, and heart.

I’m honored to walk beside you.

With love,
Morgan O’Hare

What Makes Present Practice Unique

  • A woman practicing yoga outdoors on a wooden deck, kneeling with her hands in prayer pose, surrounded by green foliage. Two other women are partially visible in the foreground.

    Deep Roots in Yogic Philosophy

We honor the ancient teachings of yoga—exploring the Yoga Sutras, the Eight Limbs, the koshas, the gunas, and more—and make them practical and alive for your modern life.

  • A woman wearing a brown shirt and pearl necklace with her hands crossed over her chest, appearing to be experiencing an emotional moment outdoors.

    Embodied Practice of Asana

We explore yoga postures from the inside out, focusing on alignment, anatomy, and physiology to deepen your understanding of the body in each pose. You will learn functional movement principles, hands-on assists with compassionate touch, and how to approach advanced postures with accessible modifications. We also cover sequencing skills to support both your home practice and your ability to lead group classes with confidence.

    Powerful Breath & Meditation Training

In this Powerful Breath & Meditation Training, you will discover how breath serves as a bridge to presence. You’ll gain practical tools in pranayama (yogic breath control), learn techniques for regulating your nervous system, and explore meditation practices that support clarity, focus, and self-inquiry.

  • Outdoor yoga session on a stone terrace, participants seated on colorful mats with arms raised, facing mist‑shrouded Bhutanese mountains.

    Self-Inquiry & Inner Work

Every module of School of Being includes prompts, rituals, and reflection practices to deepen self-awareness. This is not about memorizing information—it’s about transformation from within.

  • People sitting cross-legged on cushions in a circle inside a wooden, thatched-roof open-air hut, with candles and flowers arranged in the center.

    Sacred Structure, Spacious Presence

You’ll gain intelligent frameworks for teaching—but you’ll also be empowered to listen inward, stay authentic, and teach from your own truth.

  • Group of people participating in a yoga class in a bright room with large windows and mountain views.

    The Power of Intention

This training helps you clarify your personal dharma—your purpose—and develop the confidence to live in alignment with it.

All levels are welcome. What matters most is your willingness to be here fully, and your devotion to becoming who you’re meant to be.

Training Overview

Yoga Alliance–Certified 200-Hour Teacher Training
This training blends self-paced study with an immersive 15-day retreat experience. The flow is designed to move from inner foundation to embodied teaching.

  • Begin your journey from the inside out with School of Being, a self-paced online course authored by Morgan O’Hare. This immersive experience lays the spiritual foundation for the entire training, guiding you into the heart of what yoga truly is—a path of presence, self-discovery, and soulful becoming.

Through poetic teachings, guided reflection, and embodied practices, you’ll explore:

    • The Eight Limbs of Yoga as a map for living fully

    • The Koshas and Kleshas as frameworks for self-understanding

    • Yoga philosophy made practical for everyday life

    • Rituals, journaling, and movement to reconnect with your truth

This isn’t just a course—it’s your sacred preparation. A chance to ground into yourself before the in-person immersion begins.

  • Step into presence. This retreat-style training takes place in one of the world’s most awe-inspiring destinations, creating the perfect environment for deep learning, embodiment, and connection.

Over the course of 15 days, you’ll live and breathe your yoga practice—through intentional daily rhythm, structured training, and soul-nourishing space. Each day includes:

    • Morning practices to awaken body, breath, and awareness

    • Afternoon lectures and workshops on anatomy, alignment, sequencing, and more

    • Evening practice teaching to grow your voice and your confidence

    • Time for integration, reflection, nature, and connection

This is where the work becomes real. Where presence becomes your teacher. And where the truth of who you are begins to shine through.

The retreat intensive portion of training serves as the practical application of all you have learned so far, with a huge focus on practice teaching, sequencing, adjusting, and understanding all there is to know about each asana! You’ll deepen your physical practice while gaining invaluable experience teaching yoga classes so you can graduate feeling equipped to step into your role as a yoga teacher.

And like with any Present Practice Retreat, you’ll experience the world and connect to yourself in a way you never have before. Training includes fun activities and excursions to get the most out of your time abroad!
