Yoga & Surfing Retreat: Finding Flow

A 7-day yoga & surf retreat on the island of Siargao

May 25 - 31, 2026

the retreat:

This is not your typical yoga retreat — it’s a full-body, full-heart immersion into movement, nature, and the sweet freedom of island life. Set on the lush, palm-covered island of Siargao, this 6-night experience blends daily yoga, surf, exploration, and community into one unforgettable adventure.

You’ll flow through energizing vinyasa each morning in an open-air shala overlooking the ocean, then head out for surf lessons, island hopping boat trips, lagoon adventures, beach club hangs, and plenty of laid-back moments to soak it all in. Whether you’re learning to surf for the first time or diving deeper into your practice, this retreat meets you where you are — and invites you to go further.

We’ll stay at Soultribe Siargao, a beachside retreat haven with beautiful casitas, two shared guesthouses, a pool, and cozy hangout areas. Expect a cacao ceremony, handstand workshop, powerful journaling, local food that’s vibrant and nourishing, and a final night beach dance party with live tribal drummers.

This retreat is for anyone ready to play, move, connect, and break free from whatever’s been holding them back. Come solo or with a friend — and leave feeling fully alive.

The Journey: Island Life in Siargao

Tucked away in the turquoise waters of the Philippines, Siargao is a lush, palm-drenched island known for its surf breaks, saltwater adventures, and laid-back charm. It’s the kind of place where you feel time slow down — where every moment invites you to breathe deeper, play harder, and live more freely.

Our home for the week is Soultribe Siargao, a beachfront sanctuary on a quiet stretch of sand. You’ll wake up to ocean breezes and birdsong, with a quick barefoot walk from your casita to morning yoga in the stunning open-air shala. The property features private beach huts, two spacious shared guesthouses, a pool, chill lounges, a dining pavilion, and hammocks strung between the palms — everything designed to help you unwind and drop into island rhythm.

Throughout the week, we’ll explore the best of the island — from surfing world-class breaks (with lessons for beginners and boards provided), to boat trips through dreamy lagoons, snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, and stopping at beach cafés and sunset spots that make you want to stay forever.

This is not a retreat where you’ll be confined to one place — it’s a full adventure, with plenty of time to wander, connect, and find your flow in one of the most vibrant corners of the world.

What to Expect

Yoga & Workshops
Start each day with powerful, energizing vinyasa flows in an ocean-view, open-air shala surrounded by palm trees. Classes are designed to wake up the body, drop you into presence, and prepare you for a day of movement and fun. You’ll also dive into specialty workshops — including a handstand/inversions session — plus intention-setting, journaling, and a heart-opening cacao ceremony.

Surf & Island Adventures
Each attendee receives a surf lesson with their own private local instructor, with more surf opportunities on your own throughout the week if you’re craving more waves.
Beyond surfing, we’ll explore the island by land and sea:
Guided land tour through Siargao’s hidden corners and lagoons
Island hopping boat trip with snorkeling and a fresh beach lunch
Beach hangs, shop strolls, and sunset surf watching

Food & Community
Expect nourishing, tropical meals made with love — think smoothie bowls, local fish and meat, fresh fruit, veggies, and hearty plates to fuel your active days. All dietary needs can be accommodated.
Meals are shared in the open-air dining space, with lots of time to connect, laugh, and drop into the magic of the group.

The Vibe
This retreat is vibrant, adventurous, and playful — for those ready to move, explore, dance barefoot on the beach, and let go of whatever’s been holding them back.
We’ll close the week with a sunset celebration and live tribal drummers on the sand. We ran this retreat in 2023 and are still dreaming about it. That's why we're going back!
